This website is operated by Boyd's NEON, a neon sign workshop located at 5735 Industrial Place, Unit C, Colorado Springs, CO 80916. In this policy, "we," "us" and "our" mean Boyd's NEON. You can reach us at boyd@boydsneon.com or 719-391-0466.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you send an inquiry or ask for a quote, we collect what you choose to share with us:

Your name, email address and phone number.
The service you're interested in and your message, such as wording, where the sign will hang or the problem with an existing sign.
Optional details such as sign size and colors, and how you'd prefer we contact you (call, email or WhatsApp).
An optional photo of your sign, artwork or installation site, if you choose to attach one.

If you call, email or message us on WhatsApp, we receive your phone number or email address, the content of your messages and anything you send along with them, such as photos or sketches.

Basic technical information

Local storage: this site stores one item in your browser's local storage to remember when you closed a promotional notice, so it doesn't keep reappearing. It holds only a timestamp, stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Google Maps and Google Fonts: this site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, and some pages show an embedded Google Map. When these load, Google may receive your IP address and basic browser information, which it handles under its own privacy policy.
No ads or analytics: at the time of writing, this site does not install advertising cookies or analytics tracking.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

How we use your information

To reply to your inquiry and prepare a quote by phone or email.
To design, build or repair the neon work you ask us for, and to follow up on that work, including our one-year guarantee on all work.
To keep basic business records and meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't use it to send you marketing you didn't ask for.

Sharing

We share information only when we need to:

Service providers: companies that help us run the site and our business, such as our website host and our email and form-processing providers. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
Legal reasons: if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry details and correspondence for as long as we need them to answer you, complete and support your project, and keep reasonable business records. When we no longer need information, we delete it or keep it only where the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Just email boyd@boydsneon.com or call 719-391-0466, and we'll respond within a reasonable time. We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request.

If you live in Colorado, you may have additional rights under the Colorado Privacy Act where that law applies to us, such as the right to access, correct or delete your personal data and to opt out of certain uses. We'll honor any rights that apply to you, and we won't treat you differently for using them.

You can also clear your browser's local storage at any time to remove the item this site saves.

Children

This website is meant for adults and businesses. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us. No website, email or internet transmission is completely secure, though, so please don't send sensitive details such as payment card numbers through the inquiry form or email.

Third-party links

Our site links to other services, including Facebook, Google (Maps and our Google Business Profile), WhatsApp and Novelio Technologies, who designed and developed this site. Those services have their own privacy practices, which we don't control, so please review their policies when you visit them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page and change the date below.
